How to get rewards

Send and receive referral rewards

You can earn up to 50 referral rewards by inviting new users to Google Pay. Once the referred user makes their first payment, both users will receive the reward. You can only earn one referral reward for installing Google Pay. 

Note: The person that you invite may receive invitations from multiple users. You will only receive the referral reward if the invitee uses your unique code.

The reward may take up to five working days to reflect in your account.

Send a referral invitation

1. Open Google Pay .
2. Under 'Payments', tap New.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Invite Friends to Google Pay​.
4. Select how you'd like to invite.
5. Tap Send.

Use a Google Pay referral code

1. Open Google Pay .
2. In the top right, tap   Referral Code.
3. Type in the referral code that your friend sent you. If the code is valid, you’ll see a success screen.
4. Make your first payment. 

Play Google Pay Scratch Cards

You have a chance to win cash prizes when you use Google Pay. 

1. If you haven’t already done so, add your bank account to Google Pay.
2. Use Google Pay to send money to or receive money from someone else. You’ll get a Google Pay Scratch Card in your Rewards section.
3. Tap the reward > Play Now.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to find out if you won a cash prize.

If you win, the money will be deposited into your bank account within 48 hours. Read our terms and conditions for more information.

Play Lucky Fridays Draw

You can win a one-off prize of 100,000 for participating in Google Pay Lucky Fridays.

To participate:

1. If you haven’t already done so, add your bank account to Google Pay.
2. Use Google Pay to send Rs 500 or more to another Google Pay user. You’ll get a Lucky Lakh entry card in your Rewards section.
3. On the entry card, tap Play Now.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to find out if you won a prize.
5. If you win, tap Claim Now and enter your Permanent Account Number (PAN) for tax withholding purposes. Google Pay will pay the taxes, so that you can keep the full 100,000.

If you win, the money will be deposited into your bank account within 48 hours.

View your prizes

To see your prize history:

1. Open Google Pay .
2. From the bottom of the screen, swipe up.
3. Tap Rewards.
4. Scroll to the bottom to see your reward history.
